Our mowing services always include trimming, blowing, and edging.

We provide weekly or bi-weekly lawn mowing based on the standard growing periods in your area. From April 1st to November 1st, our crew will visit the property weekly to mow, edge, and trim hard/soft-edged areas and blow away the debris and grass clippings. Hard and soft-edged areas include but are not limited to curbs, sidewalks, tree rings, and landscape bed lines. Once we enter the winter season, we switch our lawn mowing services to a bi-weekly schedule until April 1st of the following year.

That works out to an average of 38 to 40 cuts per year!

St Augustine, Bahia, and Zoysia grass are always cut to their appropriate height and we allow nothing to grow beyond 6 inches.

As a recommendation for clients, we suggest leaving the grass clippings on the lawn because they are a great way to release nutrients to the soil after being turned into mulch using the mower blades. However, unless otherwise specified, the clippings and any other debris are blown off hardscape surfaces and fully removed within 2 hours.

Any mowing service that must be postponed due to Florida's sporadic weather changes will be rescheduled for the same week!

Suffocate those weeds out of your landscape beds by applying post and pre-emergent spot treatments.

Landscape beds should be filled to the brim with flowers and colorful softscapes. Needless to say that a bunch of weeds growing in their place doesn't exactly fit into the equation.

We work hard to keep flower beds neatly cultivated by stopping the weeds from coming back. Our post and pre-emergent herbicides are carefully applied to the area as part of our fertilizer mixture or by performing spot treatments when needed.

Regular lawn fertilization and weed control applications supply you with a yard rolling in a sea of green.

Fertilizer is such an important step in proper lawn care. It supplies grass with a surplus of nutrients that help keep it healthy and strong. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are the three main nutrients lawns need the most.

Thick lawns put weeds at a disadvantage and limit their potential to germinate and grow. Our fertilization services work best for St. Augustine, Bahia, and Zoysia grass.

Sarasota County limits the time for when professional lawn and landscape companies are allowed to fertilize properties with solutions containing nitrogen and phosphorus. Therefore, no fertilization services can be performed between June 1st and September 30th. See our main fertilization and weed control page for more details.

St. Augustine and Zoysia grass receive an iron and micronutrient fertilizer in July; free of nitrogen and phosphorus!

We know how to make palm trees and ornamental shrubs thrive and avoid problems with pests and insects.

Palm trees are a Florida staple, so it's only natural to have a dozen or so placed throughout your condominium or HOA community! Proper tree care and maintenance will keep the palm healthy and prevent it from dying off too quickly. Palm trees that are 12 feet or smaller are pruned once a year. We avoid doing the 'hurricane cut' (pruning below the nine o'clock - three o'clock line) because it can make the plant susceptible to disease and stress.

Ornamental shrubs like Hibiscus, Green Island Ficus, and Bouganvillea are popular choices for extra landscaping plants. We prune a variety of regular and flowering shrubs to help them keep their shape and produce more growth for a fuller appearance. Pruning happens every 4-6 weeks and shrubs that have already blossomed are pruned immediately to help shape the terminal growth.

Since palm tree and shrub fertilization must also follow the same guidelines as our lawn fertilization, this service is only applied 4 times a year in January, March, May, and November.

All clippings and debris from pruning are taken care of and removed by our team at the end of the service!

Our technicians offer a variety of maintenance services for your irrigation systems.

HOA in Longboat Key, FL testing the irrigation system.

Watering your lawn helps grass stay hydrated and keep its bright green coloring. No resident wants to live in a condominium or HOA community showcasing a brown or yellowing lawn. So, if your experiencing issues with your irrigation system, let our team take a look!

Our team can check the controls and make any necessary adjustments to the system's mechanical components. We'll make sure the sprinkler system program software is working properly. Manual testing is completed on the entire system where we will inspect all the rotors, sprinkler heads, and drip lines. We'll also check out the water source for the irrigation system and ensure the backflow preventers are on and operating on a monthly basis.
